Bonjour. Je m'appelle Rebecca, enchanté. I am a francophile doing my best to celebrate French culture while living in the desert of Arizona. You might be surprised how many French nationals and fellow francophiles live here. I got the privilege of visiting Paris about 10 years ago during my honeymoon (see pictures below) and I've been obsessed with all things French ever since. I am completely in love with the city of Paris (I have a Paris themed kitchen and bathroom to prove it). Thanks to the Alliance Française of Greater Phoenix I am able to attend French cultural events and language classes here in Phoenix. It has always been a dream of mine to learn French and after 8 years of Spanish (high school and college), I am finally beginning to learn the French language...which is where my true passion lies. It's been years since college and I forgot how challenging learning a new language is. All I can say is wish me luck.
